BODY & BRAIN CLASSES
Body & Brain classes are fun and dynamic and focus on releasing deep seated tension in the body through a variety of signature exercises and breathing techniques. The aim of each class is to bring awareness fully into the body (and out of the busy thinking head!) to create a state of relaxed concentration, in which the body and mind encounter the space to connect. Each class has the elements of:
~ STRETCHING & MUSCLE TENSION EXCERSISES ~
Meridian stretching combined with overall muscle toning is a physical and brain workout that connects your mind and body for increased strength, flexibility, and centeredness.
~ QIGONG ~
Integrated in all our classes, our meditative system of martial art forms helps to improve your body alignment, balance, energy (Qi or Ki) circulation and physical stamina.
~ BREATHING ~
Mindful breathing techniques that help you release stagnant and accumulate new energy, jump start the
water- fire energy circulation system in the body that helps cool down the overthinking mind and brings awareness in the body.
~ MEDITATION ~
A variety of meditation techniques that help you develop the ability to relax and focus on energy sensations, bringing your mind naturally into a state of deep peace.
